  That’s great to hear Liz. I’m looking to publish asap but it takes a while to illustrate etc so am still months away. Will update on website and social media when the next one is out.

  Hi Liz, lovely to hear from you. I have just finished writing 2 further books, I have been rather occupied with the animation as I had a celebrity lined up for the voices, but sadly he had a change of plan due to other work commitments. So, I have been writing again and have started illustrating 2 books at once… its a bit of a juggle but I am hoping to release at least one next year. Lovely to hear from you. Richard

My Journey

I started writing my first book in 2019, I was on a 6 hour drive and the idea just came into my head. When driving I was lucky enough to have a few hours of peace and quiet (no music... through choice!), just the drone of the tyres on the road and the occasional squeak here and there. Twice a week my work takes me on a 6 hour round trip so once the idea was in my head I couldn't stop thinking about it. Having a phone handy meant I could take notes during stop breaks and over the next 6 months the story came together. It took me around 18 months from initial idea, to print. Read more here.
